In order to run a successful program for the kids, we need
parent volunteers to help us throughout the season! Please review our upcoming
needs:
- Youth Basketball Uniform Helpers ( Help Beth Loeper with sales
and distribution of the Shirts and shorts - work tables, help with inventory
counts, organize and repair Travel Basketball Uniforms)
- Sponsorship Coordinator - help with finding and signing up
Sponsors for the Program by talking face to face with
local businesses (great for kids also!)
- "Community Service Projects for the Kids" Coordinator (Includes
coordinating opportunities for the Kids to earn Community Service Credit
such as gym clean up, reporting game scores and highlights, refilling supply
bags for teams, scoreboard operation, scorebook keeping, helping the 1st and
2nd Graders on Saturday mornings, fundraising, etc.) Official letters
written by the Coordination and a thank you certificate - signed by the
Board.
YOUTH BASKETBALL NEEDS - if
interested in donating (tax-deductible) please reply to
beth@hwybb.org
- Scholarships: $75, $100 or $125 (anonymous donation allows those in
financial need to play basketball - out of respect for families in need, we
do not reveal anyone requesting financial assistance)
- First Aid Supplies: $25 each. (Ice packs, supplies)
- General Fund Donation (any amount, tax deductible) used for referee
fees, gym fees, school janitor fees, etc.
